It looks like the power crews still working to restore power for 180,000 people in Western Washington are going to have some new problems to contend themselves with. The incoming storms won’t be nearly as bad as the ones last week. However, given there are still a lot of fallen trees that haven’t been dealt with yet, it could be just enough to cause some additional power-related issues.
What scares me is that in many of these areas that don’t have power at the moment, they are having to completely rebuild the power distribution system from soup to nuts. And I bet that in almost no cases are they burying the damned power lines, which would solve a lot of the problems people are having.
