One of the challenges of coming to Finland is the fact that most of the people I deal with on a regular basis are still back in California. As a result, the business day in Finland is relatively free of outside interruptions. However, my evenings are a different matter entirely. As California comes online, the Nokia E62 I currently carry will start vibrating as email comes in. The phone will ring constantly.
If it’s anything like my last trip to Finland, I will be a zombie after it is over, having literally worked every waking hour of the day between the business where I am at physically and the business I need to attend to back on the west coast USA. I guess my employer is getting their money’s worth when I come here. 😉
